Mission
TWC strives to bring all the pieces of caring for your child with special needs together in one place so that families can stay informed, connected, resourceful and thriving. We connect, home, school, community and research to create overall maximum health for the whole family.
Vision
Our vision at TWC is to be a trusted ally for families with children with disabilities. We aim to empower families with knowledge, compassion, and support as they navigate the journey of raising a child with special needs. We want to be the first call families make after receiving a diagnosis, providing a listening ear, education, advocacy, respite care, and connections to resources. Our goal is to be with families from determination to transition and every milestone in between, promoting the growth and well-being of their child(ren) in the home, school, and community.
Purpose
Caring for a child with exceptionalities can often become all-consuming leaving gaps in the social/emotional, mental, physical, and financial health of the whole family. TWC works with the family to identify the gaps through a comprehensive needs assessment. Once we determine the gaps we create an individualized family plan (IFP) that creates goals, implement solutions and track progress towards the family’s overall health.
